Tips and common issues

Use the turn-by-turn instructions to brief drivers or confirm that a proposed route is practical before permit applications.

If instructions do not appear, ensure the route has been fully calculated and that you have clicked Directions for the correct route.

Where infrastructure is critical (for example low bridges), cross-check the map and instructions together before relying on the route.

Where to get help

Discuss route instructions with your internal logistics or safety team for complex or unusual routes.

Contact the NHVR Route Planner support team if infrastructure or conditions do not appear correctly in the instructions.
