How to submit a new HVSAPS Access Assessment

A guide on how to create and submit a new HVSAPS Access Assessment application (PBS vehicle example)

New Assessment

  1. Log in to NHVR Go.

  2. Navigate to the ‘Access Permits’ menu

  3. Select the new option labelled ‘Access assessments’

  4. Click NEW ASSESSMENT.

  5. Enter a reference and click Ok.

    1. This reference is just for a customer’s identification purposes, this reference does not form part of the HV-SAPS assessment.

    2. NOTE: Using consistent naming conventions will make it easier for you and your team to find access assessment applications in the future.

  6. A new Access Assessment application will open.

Access Assessment application

There are 6 steps to completing an Access Assessment application:

  1. Vehicle - select the vehicle to be assessed and provide the vehicle details required for the assessment. Click here for a guide on how to interpret a PBS Vehicle Approval for an Access Assessment

  2. Travel details - provide the travel details required for the assessment.

  3. Route - plan the route to be assessed or alternatively select 'Network' for a network assessment.

  4. Attachments - provide any file attachments required for the assessment.

  5. Additional instructions - provide any additional instructions for assessment.

  6. Confirmation - review and complete declarations prior to submission.

Submission

Follow the 6 step process to complete the Access Assessment application.

Once all sections are complete the Submit New Assessment button will be enabled at the bottom of the Confirmation step.

NOTE: Incomplete sections will be coloured red. All sections must be complete before the system will allow the Access Assessment application to be submitted.

Upon successful submission you will receive a confirmation email.
