1.1. Create an OpenStreetMap (OSM) Account
Before making changes to OSM, you must have an account.
Open a web browser and go to OpenStreetMap.
Click Sign Up in the top-right corner.
Fill in the required details: Including email, display name and password. Links to terms of use, privacy policy and contributor terms and be accessed before signing up
• Username (choose a professional and identifiable name).
• Email (your work email is preferred).
• Password.Check your email inbox for the activation/verification email.
Click the link in the email to verify your account.
Log in to OSM with your username and password.
