NOTE: To use the NHVR Portal the user must:
have a production Portal account;
have the required Permission level to submit application; and
be logged in to Portal.
1. Navigate to Vehicle Standards via the menu
2. Select Exemption Permit
3. Select required action.
New Exemption Permit application
4. Select New application.
5. Add an Application nickname as a reference to make it easier to find the application in the future.
6. Follow the workflow steps to complete the application.
If there is any information missing as you progress through the workflow, it will be highlighted in red. You will not be able to submit your application until this is correctly completed.
Exemption Permit - Renew, Amend and Cancel
7. Select an available permit from the drop down list which displays when you click in the field.
8. Add an Application nickname as a reference to make it easier to find the application in the future.
9. Click Start.
10. Follow the workflow steps to complete the application.
11. Check the Confirmation page details, complete the declarations and submit the application.
Note: If there are no valid permits to renew, amend or cancel, an error message will display.
